Cauldron Explosion
Set out the cauldrons with a dropper—If you don’t have a dropper, you can set out a small pitcher/cup with vinegar to pour. Encourage your child explore what happens when you mix the baking soda and vinegar!

Materials
- Baking soda
- Glitter
- Color dye
- White vinegar
- Dropper (and cup for vinegar)
- Cauldrons
How To
- Get your cauldron ready—You can find cauldrons at your local Dollar Tree, or simply make your own by wrapping black craft tape around empty yogurt cups.
- Fill it ¾ the way full with baking soda.
- Sprinkle glitter on top (We suggest green glitter with orange color dye and orange glitter with green color dye).
- Add about five drops of color dye.
