Foam Fun with Letters
You can choose to do the colors of the rainbow or one color on its own! To incorporate science and encourage creative thinking, I chose yellow and blue and left it for Joy to make discoveries. She observed the colors, and made green. She even took it a step further and created different hues of green! Once again this proved that no matter the outcome I anticipate, child led play is the best direction to follow!
- Dish soap
- A Blender or Hand Mixer
- Color Dye
- Crayon Numbers or Letters (see link)
- Pour a cup of water into a blender and add a dollop of dish soap
- Add in 3-5 drops of color dye and blend. If you are doing this with a hand held mixture, tilt the sensory bin on its side to create depth and blend.
