Tips with Miss Charlotte

Miss Charlotte - Teacher Playgarden

Notice how your child might pinch the corn kernels to pick them up. Watch and encourage them to push, poke, and pound the kernels into the play-doh.  These playful acts are wonderful skills they are building that strengthen the fine motor muscles that they will need later on for writing skills!

You can also use this technique with any dried bean, chickpea, or even rice for more Play-doh fun!
