• Oil the pan and knead the dough into a circle. Your little one will love this step because it’s very similar to play-doh!
• Using a pizza cutter, form the top of the heart. You can use the extra dough you cut off to make garlic knots, or just add it to the bottom of the pizza!
• Once you have your heart shape, add the sauce. You can set it out in a bowl with a small spoon and offer this step for your little one to do.
• To make the colorful cheese, divide it into 6 bags and add one drop of color dye to each bag until you’ve reached the desired color. (*Note if you use natural dye the colors may change when you bake them so make them slightly darker).
• Sprinkle the colored cheese on your pizza and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese melts and starts to bubble. Keep an eye on it. If you overcook it, the cheese will crisp and become discolored.
