Great Pre-K Homeschooling Tips for Parents  - Playgarden Online

Sending your young one to a Pre-K homeschool program can be a bit of an adjustment, not only for your child but yourself as well, especially if you’re also working from home. But with a few tips, you can make online Pre-K learning fun and informative, and help your child stay focused.

That’s why Playgarden Prep has collected some easy pointers for you to follow here!

1. Creating a Set Routine

Having a daily routine each day can make Pre-K homeschool much easier for you and your child. This is because children are used to having a routine schedule at school, so even though they’re learning from home, you should follow a fixed schedule as much as possible. You can schedule lunchtime, breaks, and even social time if you want.

2. Make Use of Online Resources

There are many different online resources that Pre-K homeschools offer that are both fun and informative. Playgarden Prep has a variety of online resources ranging from read-along tasks to arts and crafts suggestions.

3. Create a Learning Area in Your Home

Providing a space in your home dedicated to learning can give your Pre-K student a creative atmosphere that can help them concentrate better. Doing so gives them a space in the home comparable to the classroom environment that is beneficial.

4. Personal Projects

Coming up with some personal projects for your child to complete throughout the week can be a fun way to introduce learning and help them accomplish more long-term goals. Perhaps they’ve become fascinated with a musical instrument or love to paint, setting aside time for them to pursue such goals is always a good idea.

5. Provide them with the Right Learning Tools

Even if your child is enrolled in Pre-K online, you can still help provide them with some learning tools to empower them and keep them accountable. You can have them create daily to-do lists each morning or give them a planner to keep track of assignments, arts and crafts projects, and more.
